Jacqueline "Jackie" Simpson Narulski

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Edward R. Narulski, the former Jacqueline “Jackie” Simpson, age 56, at 11:00 am Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Pastor Jacob Aranza officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Thursday until service time.

A native of Terre Haute, Indiana and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Narulski passed away at 2:19 pm on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Iberia Medical Center.

Mrs. Narulski was the Assistant Librarian at Delcambre Elementary and the Head Chef at the Boiling Point. She was a member of Our Savior’s Church. She enjoyed bowling and a competitive game of board marbles with her kids, but her greatest joy was being with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Edward Narulski; sons, Niki Narulski and wife Tessie and Jake Narulski; daughters, Dayna Gary and husband Kevin and Mindy Brimer and husband Jason all of New Iberia; grandchildren, Alexia and Maddie Gary, Cassie and Callie Narulski, and Mason and Seth Brimer and one grandson on the way; her parents, Jack Simpson of New Iberia and Jewel Cole of New York; one sister,, Amber Bock of New York and three brothers, Shawn Simpson and Christian Cole of New York and Randy Simpson of Rockford, IL.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heidi Jo Narulski; brother, Tim Simpson and nephew, Sonny Simpson.

Pallbearers will be Niki Narulski, Jake Narulski, Kevin Gary, Jason Brimer, Shawn Simpson and Christian Cole. Jack Simpson will serve as honorary pallbearer.
