NEW IBERIA – A funeral service celebrating the life of Kenneth Wayne Patin, age 73, was conducted at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia. Deacon Waynard Boutte officiated. Interment followed at Holy Family Cemetery.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Patin passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Ochsner’s Lafayette General Medical Center.
Born on June 18, 1948 to the late Ovid and Gladys Migues Patin, Kenneth was one of five children. Kenneth was a loving man who cared deeply for his family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all, Kenneth will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He enjoyed the simple things in life. Kenneth was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed being outside tending to his yard, spending time with family, hunting and fishing. He owned, managed, and operated Patin’s Tire for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Frioux Patin; children, Dean LeBlanc (Robin), Brenda L. Broussard (Chris), and Diana L. Gary; brother, Gerald Patin (Jane); grandchildren, Brad Migues and Micheal LeBlanc; and great grandchildren, Bailey, Brylee, Payton, Addilyn, and Graham.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ovid Patin and Gladys Migues Patin; brother, William Patin; and sisters, Rebecca Delcambre and Barbara Patin.
Pallbearers were Dean LeBlanc, Chris Broussard, Brad Migues, Randy Hebert and David Hebert
