

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Francis Foch Hebert, the former Mildred “Millie” LeCompte, age 91, at 3:00 pm Monday, October 15, 2012 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Duhon officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 am on Monday until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 am.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Hebert passed away at 6:55 am on Friday October 12, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Hebert was a member of Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church where she sand in the choir for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Hebert is survived by her daughter, Janet Stevens and husband John of Baton Rouge; grandson, Scott Patrick Stevens and wife Mae of Prairieville and two great grandchildren, Magdalynn Ellen and Lucas Foch Stevens.
She is also survived by one brother, Malcolm LeCompte of Delcambre and two sisters, Gloria Huckaby of New Iberia and Rose Marie Viator of Baton Rouge; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Foch Hebert; parents, Leonce and Pearl Broadhead LeCompte; one sister, Nodileen LeCorgne and three brothers, Wilbur LeCompte; Herbert LeCompte and Nolan LeCompte.
Pallbearers will be Scott Stevens, Tommy Hayes, Drew LeCompte, Randy LeCompte, David LeCompte, Patrick Huckabay, Richard Hebert and Douglas Viator.
