We are all deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of Nicholas and Christian. The Carmelite Nuns in Mobile light a candle for a safe journey when family and friends leave for home.  I lit a candle for Nicholas and Christian when I learned of their deaths. It burned for the rest of the day, throughout the night, and into Thursday. I watched it Thursday morning as it slowly dimmed and gently went out, and I knew that they were home, they were safe.

Condolences to this diistraugh family.  I just learned who was envolved in this terrible accident and prayed I would not know them yesterday.   It turns out I know the grand parents.   My heart goes out to you Peggy and Clay. The Lord be with you at this time of sorrow.  I am praying for you.

There are so many things I want to say but the words don't come out. Me and my sisters grew up with you and love you unconditionally and would have went to the end of the world to do anything for you. I wish I could go back and keep you and Christian away from this. I taught Nick as a sophomore and he along with Gage were my computer gurus in the class, even after Nick left I would ask him  questions about computers and what he planned to do after high school and it always was something about computers. I will miss his smiling face but remember it always as I walk the halls of WHS.

Nick was one of the best and finest of young men. He was my son's friend. He came to us often to hang out with the 7 others in the friend group. We had a special room just for them. I fed him, covered him early in the morning with a blanket while he was still sleeping. And I loved him as much as Devon and all the other fine young men did. We share your sorrow. Unfortunately you are having to live through this tragic loss of not one but two of your children.  The pain you are feeling is incomprehensible. Hey nick. It's been a while. Probably since I graduated last year. You may or may not remember me or not idk...... but I remember you and we will always share those memories and jokes all of us in ap made together. I guess it hit me pretty hard that some goofy guy like you passed away today. Sorry you didn't get to hear the cheering as you made it away to your new life. I wish you could have felt the relief like I did and fear because that was the next step and it was something I won't ever forget. But even though you never got to take step number one out of high school, everyone in ap got your back for you man. Keep up the good art work :") don't ever let your imagination flow away....

To My Family,
I am so saddened to hear about the loss of your son, Nicholas who is one of my own cousins. We are such a large family and some of us do not even know each other.  I am Uncle Dolze Peltier's grand daughter.  My grandfather and Uncle Clay Sr. were brothers.  Having experienced the lost a son of my own in 2013 I feel the pain that lies deep within your hearts.  I could not even begin to imagine what the pain of losing two son's at the same time must be like.  Please know that I am holding all of you close in my heart at this time and in my prayers.
