Patricia Myers Boudoin, affectionately known by family and friends as “Patsy” or “Moma Lou”, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 23, 2022, surrounded in love by her family. At her passing she was 76.
Patricia was born October 4, 1945 in Avery Island to the late Antoine Myers, Sr. and the late Lilly Richard Myers and was the one of five children born to that union.
Patricia was a kind and easy going woman who enjoyed the simple things in life. She liked making trips to the casino, online shopping, and eating out with her group of friends. They loved to try different restaurants every week! Patsy will perhaps best be remembered for her love of the New York Yankees, whom she made a point to watch on TV every single day.
Most importantly, and above all else, Patricia’s greatest love was for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and thoughts of all who knew and loved her. We rejoice in knowing that she is not gone, but has only gone on before us. Until we meet again. We love you.
Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years, Curtis “Joe” Boudoin; sons, Ty Boudoin (Sherdell) and Tait Boudoin (Sharon); brother, Antoine “Mike” Myers, Jr.; sister, Deborah Vice (Roger); brother-in-law, Ronald Boudoin; sister-in-law, Bertha Myers; grandchildren, Hilary Fruge (Drew), Taylor Boudoin, Leila Boudoin, Austin Boudoin, Rylee Maturin, and Baylee Maturin; and great grandchildren, Asher Fruge, Jamison Maturin, and Ari Maturin.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Lonnie Myers; sister, Virginia Myers LaRive; sisters-in-law, Janet Myers and Enes Boudoin; and great grandchild, Keely Boudoin.
