Randy Lawrence Marin

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services were conducted for Randy Lawrence Marin, age 61, at 11:30 am Friday, September 1, 2017 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Fr .Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 8:00 am Friday until time of service.

A native of New Iberia and resident of St. Martinville, Randy passed away at 6:46 pm on Monday, August 28, 2017 at his residence.

Randy was the owner of Louisiana Pottery and Wrought Iron located in rural St. Martinville. He imported Mexican pottery and products for more than 25 years. His hobbies revolved around his shop and family. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Ellen Buteau Marin of St. Martinville; one daughter, Alison MarinLewis of Youngsville; one son, Shane Lawrence Marin of St. Martinville and three grandchildren, Ethan Bedore; Madeline Bedore and Lillian Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Joseph and Charlotte Halbert Marin.

Pallbearers will be Craig Buteau, Robert Babineaux, Sherwood Latour, Walter Scott, Patrick LaBiche, and Donnie Champeaux.
