Terry Michael Pontiff

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Terry Michael Pontiff, age 59, at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Msgr. Richard Greene will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:30 am until 1:30 pm.

A native of New Iberia and resident of Lafayette, Mr. Pontiff passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013 at his residence.

Terry was employed with Ram Services (previously Rockland). He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his sister, Brenda Pontiff of Lafayette; his brother, Tim Pontiff and wife Crystal of New Iberia; his former wife and friend, Pam Blanchard of New Iberia; and his cousins, Cortty, Bailey, and Jeddy Romero, Elton Guidry, Jr. and Scotty Guidry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Joyce Pontiff; and grandparents, Frank and Annie Pontiff, and Luzanne and Mae Romero.

Pallbearers will be Tim Pontiff, Cortty and Bailey Romero, Kenny McMayon, Chip Rivet, and Clarence “Snap” Walker.
