Wilson Hudson Comeaux

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Wilson Hudson Comeaux, age 81, at 1:00 pm Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Fr. Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will be held at Franklin Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday with a Rosary at 11:00 am.

A native and resident of Franklin, Mr. Comeaux passed away at 10:42 am on Monday, October 17, 2011 at New Iberia Manor North.

A retired land surveyor, Mr. Comeaux loved reading, music and WWII history. He was also passionate about caring for stray animals in the neighborhood. Mr. Comeaux was a very religious man who read his Bible frequently. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Aurelia Comeaux; sisters, Bernice Brooks, Almeda Manson, Viola Odom, Beatrice Marsh, Ruby Cooper and brothers, Lawless Comeaux, Roy Comeaux and Millard Comeaux.

Pallbearers will be Thayer Cooper, Nickholas Cooper, David Duhon, Roland Duhon, Joseph Duhon and Richard Picard.
