

She was born on June 22, 1946, in Thetford, VT, the daughter of Converse Curtice Blodgett and Stella Inez Bubar Blodgett.
Alice (Jane) graduated from Killingly High School in Danielson. As a young mother, she was active in the community, was a Girl Scout troop leader and volunteered with the American Red Cross. She volunteered at Killingly Memorial School and began working there as a reading aid in English as a Second Language helping new students acclimate. She was a manager for several years traveling statewide for Tupperware. She enjoyed camping with family and friends and would pack up every weekend to head for the beach, even in winter, and went exploring in the motorhome from Key West to Canada. She loved to decorate elaborate cakes and managed to do so in a tiny camper oven if the occasion called for it. In later years she owned and operated What’s Cookin’ kitchen shop in Woodstock, CT.
Alice is survived by her 2 children, son Scott Dauphinais and his wife Christine of Little River, SC, and daughter Lori-ann Mayotte of Webster, MA; her 5 grandchildren, Jake Dauphinais of Albany NY, Joseph Mayotte of Boston MA, Rachel Mayotte of Amherst MA, Olivia Mayotte of Webster MA and Adam Mayotte of Webster MA; siblings Dorothy (Dottie) Durst of Woodstock, Hilda Blodgett of Maryland, Carole Blodgett of Washington, Michael Blodgett of Limerick ME, and David Blodgett of Conway, NH; and her numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren. Alice was predeceased by both her parents.
