Mr. Roselund was born on July 14, 1933 in Montville the son of James and Anita Dufour Roselund. He married Cora Hurshman on October 23,1954. She predeceased him in 2001. He was employed for many years as a painter at Electric Boat in Groton until his retirement in 1995 after 35 years of service.
Mr. Roselund is survived by his three sons James Roselund Jr. wife Donna, Charles Roselund wife Robin, and Stephen Roselund wife Sue, his five daughters Corinne and Doreen Roselund, Deborah White husband Robert, JoyLynne Mauro, and Linda Wells, 19 Grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Robert Roselund and sisters Priscilla Benzinger and Sandy Bakoski.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00pm in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London, CT 06320. Interment will be private.
