Theresa was born on January 25, 1951 to Phillip Carrier Sr. and Evelyn Rogers. She worked for General Dynamics and retired from Foxwoods.
Theresa is survived by her daughter, Areatha Mathis-Hillhouse; son, Bromley Hooks Jr.; brothers Phillip Carrier Jr. and Clifford Carrier; sisters Iris Guilbert and Diana Perry; as well as 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Witherspoon and her brothers, Robert and Joel Carrier.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 2:30 PM at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave. New London, CT. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are greatly appreciated to help cover the funeral and medical expenses.
