

Mr. David E. Sevante, native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Charlotte, NC, died suddenly on Saturday, June 12, 2010. He was 36 years old. David attended De La Salle High School, where he graduated in 1992. A graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, David worked as a sales representative in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. David’s passions included mountain climbing and biking, whitewater kayaking, fly-fishing and the beaches of Destin, Fla. His devotion to family and friends was an extraordinary gift and he will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Valle Sevante of Baton Rouge and formerly of New Orleans; father Michael Sevante, of Houma, brother Michael A. Sevante and Sandy Lirette of Lacombe, LA; sister and brother-in-law, Suzette and Scott Norris, of Canandaigua, NY; sister Christy Sevante, of New Orleans; sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Stephen Huth, of Metairie; sister and brother-in-law Amy and Dan Storper, of New Orleans; and six nephews and nieces that he adored: Katharine-Grace, Leah, Beau, and Scotty Norris and Matthew Huth and William Storper. He also leaves behind a great number of close and special friends including Amy Modena, of Charlotte, NC.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, June 19th, 2010 from 10 AM to Noon at St. Rita Catholic Church, 2729 Lowerline Street in New Orleans followed by a funeral Mass.
