Earl Joseph Stephens Sr.

E. J. (Earl Joseph) (Frog) Stephens, Sr. born in New Orleans on October 17, 1931 passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 9:12 A.M. Beloved husband of Martha LaFauci Stephens his loving wife for 57 years. Son of the late Joseph Jacob and Josephine Serpas Stephens. Raised by his beloved grandmother, the late Thersa Schneider. Beloved father of Kathleen Johnson, Earl J. Stephens, Jr. (Linda), Martha Winn (Edward), and Barbara Loga. Beloved grandfather of Kathryn Johnson (Jasen), Stephen Clark (Carrie), Katrina Oliver (Mark), Jason Hernandez, Earl Stephens, III (Jennifer) and Cory Stephens. Step grandfather of to Chelsey Winn, and Edward Winn, IV, Jamal and Jasmine Loga. Great Grandfather of to Brian and Benjamin Oliver, Devin and Eryn Johnson, Justin, Kyra, Matthew, Mia, Ashlyn, and Gabriel Clark, Briana, Kayla and Madison Stephens; step grandfather to Nathan Becnel; Godfather to Michael Silcio. Brother of the late Joseph and Ernie Stephens, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gone but he will never be forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass.

Visitation will be at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA on Monday, May 9, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. and on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 8:00 A.M. to 10:30 P.M.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Church, 1908 Short Street, Kenner, LA on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.
