Kevin, Kathi and all of the Collins family, I am sorry for your loss and will keep you in prayer.

I was lucky enough to have been one of Eddie's nurses for many many years.  Eddie always was smiling, joking, talking about all the old concerts we had been to.  Eddie was always a kick!  One fun guy to be around.  Eddie you are missed by me and all the nurses.  My prayers are with your family.

Thoughts of Your wonderful smile that lit up the world helps with my tears. Until we meet again my special friend with the golden heart!

I have never seen Eddie without a smile on his face. Ever.
Always the optimistic. It was an honor to know him. I will miss him and he will be missed by many others.

I look across my yard everyday, just in case Eddie is on his deck and holler, HEY Eddie! With a huge wave and a big smile he'd reply, Where's Mike? The partners in crime and Saint's passion! His smile, laughter, friendship will be forever missed.God Bless and welcome our friend Eddie. Hugs and prayers for the entire Collin's family.

Eddie from YFS,  I will always love you, all the good times we had as kids and all the times we had as adults. Sometimes I don't think u and I wanted to grow up. But grow up we did and still remained close. Thanks for all the good times!!!  Thanks lisa for being there for him.  It meant so much to the family. Also Sheri thanks for helping us and the kids thru this difficult time.

Over 27 Years ago I married into one GREAT Family, the Collins Family. I grew up having just one sibling, my sister. My wife's 5 brothers and 3 sisters became my brothers & sisters, and I love all of them dearly. Eddie you will truly be missed by us all. You were the most kindest and gentlest person that I ever have meet. I had never ever seen you without a smile on your face. I will remember the times we had together at the at the Saints NFC Championship game and again at the Superbowl. You are truly a lifetime member of the WHO DAT NATION. Their is no doubt in my mind that you are already bugging God about getting the Saints back to the SuperBowl this year. I know he will give in and tell you yes. GO SAINTS...Love You Eddie

You were a wonderful person.  We loved you very much.  You made us laugh so hard that tears ran down our legs.  A great father and a good friend.

Our family met the Collins family when we were all kids.We all went to the same elementary school,St.Philip Neri.Eddie was in my little brother,Wade's class. All I could remember as a kid was that they had a large family and two sweet parents. The Collin's lived around the corner from us and as time went on we spent more time with them,because my sister,Kim married Hank and became a Collins too!  Whenever we were all together you couldn't help hear Eddie  in the distance,joking,laughing,telling stories! His smile and wit was contagious!  Keep them laughing up there,Eddie!    Cathy & Gary
