Elmer Marcel Ducorbier, Sr

Elmer M. Ducorbier, Sr, age 68, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011. A native of New Orleans and a Professor at Delgado CC. He earned an MBA in Mathematics at the University of N.O. and a retiree from Bellsouth. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Schaefer Ducorbier and his beloved wife, Freda Cadow Ducorbier. Elmer is survived by two sons, Elmer Jr. and David (Colleen), grandson, “DJ” Ducorbier; his father, Marcel Ducorbier, Sr. and his brother, Marcel Ducorbier, Jr. (Cathy); also nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to the visitation Wednesday, October 12th, beginning 6pm to 9pm and Thursday 9am to 10:30am at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street. Funeral Service will be held Thursday 13th, 11:00 am at Lakeview Presbyterian Church, 5914 Canal Blvd., New Orleans. Interment will be in St. Louis # 3 Cemetery.
