RIP Floyd.  While I only got the chance to work with Floyd on a few occassions in our Admirality section at the Eastern District of LA U.S. Marshals Service Office Floyd was always very helpful in making the job easier for the other DUSMs and me as he developed a first hand knowledge of the process of seizing ships/vessels under EDLA USDC orders. My prayers are with all your family in your time of loss. I first met Floyd when I started working with the U.S. Marshals Service 10 years ago. He had become a true friend and always talked about his family when I saw him.  He loved and was so very proud of you all. I will miss calling Floyd when it's time for a vessel seizure. He will be greatly missed. My he rest in peace.

Our Love & Prayers will be with you & the family throughout this very sad time in your life. Noone should ever have to lose a father or parent; it is never fair, the pain is not measurable and at times unbearable, the strife in can linger in your heart. You are blessed to have so many wonderful memories to cling to, and we pray they bring you many years of comfort. May Gods Grace be with you now and always, and may he carry you through your time of need. We love you.

What a loss. I will always remember all the laughter he brought to everyone he was around. I am blessed to have known him. My deepest sympathies to you, Kim and Tim and your family.

RIP to my dear cousin, Floyd.  Many memories of going to your house on Clark Street and going to the back room with all the board games.  You will be missed.

I have fond memories of Floyd from Sacred Heart School, playing ball at Jeff Davis playground and riding the bus to St Aloysius.  Those were good times and good memories. He will always be a part of those for me.  My sympathies to Miss Marjorie and the rest of the family. God Bless.

Webre family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Although I have not see Floyd since our Clark St days as children, I know that he was a kind and loving father and grandfather.

Your Dad and Poppie was a wonderful man and there are so many memories and good times that you all had with him. It is difficult at this time and know that you have friends and family here to support you.  Whale is no longer in pain and he will always be in your heart. He will be missed and we were truly blessed to have him in our lives.  Love to you, Tim and the children.

As a Deputy US Marshal one of our duties is to enforce federal, court orders throughout the US.  This meant we sometimes had to "arrest" vessels or seize property within our jurisdiction and hold the vessel or property in accordance with that order.   When I worked in that division the guard service we used to fulfill these obligations was operated by Floyd.  There would be numerous occasions I'd call Floyd on the weekends, late at night and just some of the most awful times.  Floyd would pick up one of his guards and meet me at the location in the court order.  I can't remember a single time that didn't go smoothly with Floyd's help.  He was truly a professional.  During the trips we would talk about family and his love for his family.  He would talk of his mother Ms. Marjorie, Kim & Tim and the grandkids.  Of course the conversation would drift to sports and his love for LSU.  He was such a wealth of knowledge on all kinds of subjects.  After Katrina I relocated to Baton Rouge and didn't hear from my friend as often.  I was saddened to learn of his passing and the loss of a dear friend.  "Whale" touched so many with his laughter.  To Floyd's family I am truly sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss.  I have known Floyd since I started working at the U S Marshals Service.  He was always so very nice to work with and such a pleasure to know.  I will really miss him. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
