Frances B Bertucci

Frances Bruno Bertucci, 84 joined the Angels in Heaven on Ash Wednesday, March 9, 2011. She was born September 18, 1926 to Sam Bruno and Rose Muth Bruno, one of three girls, Josephine Penn and the late Sami Legendre. As a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Frances enjoyed meeting people and making friends wherever she went. She loved taking care of others, especially the elderly and the sick. She never put her needs above anyone else and always saw the good in all of God’s children. A devout Catholic of St. James Major Church in Gentilly since 1950 and Our Lady of the Lake of Mandeville since 2001. Wife of 18 years to the late Peter Bertucci, and mother to Peter B. Bertucci and Nancy B. Pigrenet, son in law, Robert L. Pigrenet Jr. and a wonderful maw-maw to Amanda Rose (11) and Jordan Louis (8). A special thanks to all her nieces and nephews and lifelong friends she held so dear to her heart. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to her caregivers during the last weeks of her life, including Lakeview Regional Hospital, Pontchartrain Nursing Facility and Concerned Care Hospice of Mandeville. Family and friends are invited to the visitation beginning at 10:30AM Saturday, March 12th followed by a Catholic Burial Mass at 12:30 PM at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA.
