George Calhoun McCormack Jr.

George Calhoun McCormack, Jr. died December 20, 2010, at East Jefferson General Hospital of pulmonary complications due to cancer, at the age of 69. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Calhoun McCormack, Sr. and Elizabeth “Bess” Dahmer McCormack. His is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Comeaux McCormack; two daughters, Beth McCormack Laborde and Keri Ann McCormack; and two grandsons, Kenneth James Laborde, Jr. and Jacob Robert Laborde. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends. He was born in New Orleans, LA, and resided in Metairie, LA, for the past 44 years.

He was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and a former sales representative of Borden’s and Cosse-Hickey. He retired after many years with Dorignac’s Food Center.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service from the New Orleans Home of JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal St. at N. Scott; on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 12:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service time. A private interment will be held at a later date.
