Gladys Ethel Becerra

Gladys Estrada Becerra passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011 in New Orleans, LA. Wife of the late Ricardo Becerra; mother of Miriam Becerra ,Rick Becerra and the late Danny Becerra; also survived by Stephen Bourgeois; daughter of the late Jose Estrada and Sarah Thompson, sister of the late Josepha Zelaya,Mary Wehmeyer, Lola Babst and Fritz Thompson. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews,other relatives,and friends.

Age 84, a native of Puerto Cabeza, Nicaragua and a New Orleans resident since 1959. Retired from Ochsner Clinic as a medical interpreter.

Relatives and friends of the family are welcome to attend a funeral service in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St.; on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 11:00 am.
