Helen Marie Simoneaux Generose

Helen Marie Simoneaux Generose passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Helen shared the last 69 years of her life with her beloved husband, Philip Jack Generose, Sr. She was born in Paincourtville, Louisiana to Richard and Emily Simoneaux who preceded her in death. Helen is survived by her five loving children, Philip J. Generose, Jr. (Tammy) of Casper Wyoming, Phyllis G. Gioe, Paulette G. Zibilich, Paul J. Generose and Patrick J. Generose (Vickie); eleven loving grandchildren, Philip P. Generose (Aubry), Tamara Nelson, Corey Generose, Brooke Generose, Brandon Gioe, Emily Cassidy (Sean), Ray Verges, Jr., Sarah Verges, Ashley Generose, Patrick Generose, Jr. and Preston Generose; five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Beloved sister of Lawrence Simoneaux of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Henry Simoneaux (Gloria) of Gonzales, Louisiana and the late Rosalie Blanchard. Helen is survived by numerous loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to Noon with a Memorial Mass to follow.
