Irene V. Cahanin passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013. She was born June 14, 1918. Beloved wife of The late Richard Cahanin Jr. Mother of Richard Cahanin III and the late Ronald Cahanin. Preceed in death by her sister,Cecilia Rothney and Walter Kopanski. Survived by her brother, Theodore Kopanski of North Hampton, NH., daughter in law Janet Cahanin, grandsons, Lindsey Cahanin, Joshua Cahanin,Andrew Cahanin and wife Lesilie and Richie Cahanin and 2 great grandchildren, Helene and Nathalie Cahanin also her many nephews and nieces. The Cahanin family would like to extend their thanks to the staff and many friends at Rouquette Lodge where she lived for the past 15 years. A memorial service will be held at Rouquette Lodge on Friday,May 24th at 1:30pm.
