Irene Margaret Hallner Foster

Irene Hallner-Foster, 83, of Mandeville, LA, formerly a resident of New Orleans, LA, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at home, with family. She is the wife of the late John Schilleci, Sr. and the wife of the late Albert Frann Foster. Irene is the loving mother of the late John Schilleci, Jr.. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Schilleci-Schmidt, her son-in-law, Wayne Schmidt, and her grandchildren, Christian, Jordan, and Lauren Schmidt. She is the daughter of the late Sigfrid (Fred) Hallner, of Sweden, and the late Esther Davis-Hallner. She is the sister of the late Marie (Constance) Hebert and the late Phyllis Hallner-Laney. Irene is survived by her brother, George Hallner and her sister, Hilda Hallner-Vaughn.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St.; on Wednesday, September 18 2013 at 11:00 am.
