I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a vibrant and  energetic spirit!! I remember 35+ years ago when we would be on our way to Fort Walton Beach for one of our annual Spring Break trips, we would always stop for breakfast to visit. I always enjoyed these special times with your mom. So well traveled, Jean could tell you the best places to eat, shop, and just have fun! You have inherited her sense of fairness, devotion to family, friends, and church, and her true love of life. Carpe diem, Jean, now that you are with the Angels at the Lord's table. We are all blessed for having known your mom. My prayers are with you and Lee at this time of sorrow and grief. May fond memories replace your heartache quickly. May she rest in peace.

I will always feel fortunate to have had Aunt Jean as a part of my life, especially when we were growing up. I just heard about Jean. One memory of her that you will alway have was that she lived her life to the fullest!!!  She touched the hearts of everyone she knew. Miss Jean enjoyed life.  She loved to go, go, go.  If her body hadn’t betrayed her, she’d still be going.  I’m very grateful that Miss Jean included my mother in her many adventures.  She loved to organize trips and outings and my mother has always been ready to go anywhere at a moments notice.  Both Miss Jean and Lee have become part of our family and it’s very difficult when you lose a close family member.  I choose to celebrate Miss Jean’s life because she certainly “lived” it.  She traveled the world, had great friends, and many who loved her.  She truly had a “Joie de Vivre”.

Woodland Quilters join with Jean's many friends in mourning her death. She cheered us with her wit, touched us with her artistry, strengthened us with her courage.  We will miss her.  Carolyn,Shirley,Penny, Marcelle, Bea, Iris, Kathy, June and Jo

Jean's High School Classmates - John McDonogh High School-Class of 1943 will all miss our dear friend.  She was part of our reunions and monthly luncheons for years and will be so sadly missed.  We love you Jean and will always remember your loving ways, true friendship and appreciated all your  talented & artistic abilities.  Our condolences to her family.
