John David White

John David White died on January 15, 2013 at 72 years of age after a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was a native of New Orleans born on November 5, 1940 to the late John White and Elbertha Reimmuth. He was the loving husband of the late Mary Lynn Schenk White. He is survived by his son, David Hugo Schenk White. He was a beloved father and friend and will be greatly missed. A graduate of John McDonogh Senior High School, class of 1957, he served in the Air National Guard for 6 years before working the private sector as an audio engineer and eventually retired as a self-employed electronic engineer. A memorial service will be held at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home on Friday January 25 at 10:30am after which his ashes will be buried with his wife in Lake Lawn Park, Terrace Mausoleum, Corridor of Blessing.
