Lloyd Emile Pittman Jr.

Lloyd E. Pittman, Jr., went Home to his Lord peacefully on September 26, 2012, after a long battle with cancer. He was the beloved Husband of the late Loretta Burgard Pittman. He was the son of the late Hilda Costella and Lloyd E. Pittman, Sr. and son-in-law of the late Mary Mustacchia and Frank Burgard. He is survived by his sister, Stella P. Bergeron, his children Wayne (Tammy), Emily (Johnny) Clements and Elaine, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by a large extended family and many friends. He was a native of Alexandria, Va., long time resident of New Orleans and a resident of Chalmette, LA for the last 38 years. He was 69 years old. Relatives and friends of the family, including members of the St. Bernard Rifle and Pistol Range, are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, September 28, 2012, at 12:00 PM, Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
