Lois Polkey

Born March 20, 1924 in New Orleans, LA. She worked most of her life as a sales person and retired from Eckerd’s Drug Stores in 1994.

Survivors include her sister May Ricca, three children Donald Fitzgerald(Sherry), Dennis Fitzgerald(Sandy), and Diane Fitzgerald Borden, grandchildren Ryan, Justin, and Amanda, and three great grandchildren, Jordan, Lainey, and Jaxon. Lois was preceded in death by her husbands William J Fitzgerald, John A Polkey, brother Clarence Mitchell, and sister Vera Taylor.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 2, at Jacob Schoen & Sons Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans, La 70119. Burial will be held at Restlawn Park Cemetery, 4040 U.S. Hwy 90 West, Avondale, La immediately following services. Condolences may be expressed at www.schoencanalstreet.com
