Ret. Major David Jefferson Seibert, Jr. U.S.A.R.

Ret. Major David J. Seibert, Jr. U.S A.R passed away surrounded by his children on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at the age of 82. Husband of the late Jeannette Brochier Seibert, son of the late David J. Seibert and Mabel Adorno Seibert, brother of the late Norma Seibert Tabary. David is survived by his children, John E. Seibert (Robin), Jean S. Tomba (Thomas, Jr.,) Kathy S. Hahn (Brett), and Karen S. Brohn (Peter); grandchildren, Thomas Tomba, III, Daniel Tomba, Jonathan Farinola, Andrew Hahn, Rachael Hahn, Isabella Seibert, and Evelyn Seibert. A native of New Orleans, he was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School, Loyola University and was a retired New Orleans Public School Principal, whose passion was Military Relics and Antiques.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 12:00 Noon, with visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Louis #3 Cemetery.
