Rosemary Burd, on this day, October 23, 2012, the angels came and took our dear mother.She went Home to be with our Lord and her late Husband, Charles Burd III.A native New Orleanian who grew up in the Irish Channel,passed peacefully surrounded by her family.She loved life, played tennis, danced and cherished her family.Truly, proud of her heritage, A heart of Gold, Sadly missed by all.Beloved daughter of the late August J. Bondio,and the late Marion McClain Fessler.Loving Widower of the late Charles Burd III.Survied by 5 children,Charles Burd IV,Deborah Scott,Gary Burd,Katherine Uhle and Dawn Pitcher.7 Grandchildren,Charles Burd V, Jeremy Burd, Ashley Burd, Trey Scott, Kevin Uhle, Thomas Uhle, Raymond Pitcher Jr. 2 great-grandchildren. Sister of Shirley Hvasta, and the late August Bondio Jr. (Gerald Bondio) (Jeanette Bondio).

Relatives, Friends, Employees of South Central Bell and The New Orleans Fire Dept are invited to attend an evening Visitation Monday October 29, 2012 from 6:00 pm untill 9:00pm at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral 3827 Canal St. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at 11:00 am. Viewing will begin at 10:00 until mass time at St. Mary Assumption Church 2030 Constance St. New Orleans, La. Intermit will follow in Saint Patrick Number 1 Cemetery.
