Shirley Rousseau Duvernay

85 years old.Beloved wife of the late Burton M. Duvernay, Sr. She

was preceded in death by her son, Gary M. Duvernay, her grandsons,

Burton M. (Duv) Duvernay, Jr and Brett L. Koster.

Shirley was the daughter of the late Joseph Anthony Rousseau and

Myrtle Selle Rousseau and sister of the late Myrtle Rousseau Nuccio.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Jody Duvernay Koster (Louis) and

her son Burton M. Duvernay, Jr (Barbara), grandchildren, Kirk L.

Koster (Kristin), Erin K. Giusti (E.J.), Brad M. Duvernay (Kerri),

Brian M. Duvernay (Kristy), Chad M. Duvernay, Monique A. Duvernay,

Shane M. Duvernay (Tabitha) and Darin M. Duvernay, her great

grandchildren, Hannah and Brooke Koster, Ayden, Brianna, Dillon, Chloe

and Chase Duvernay.

She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mae Allys Baughman and brother-in-law, Blaise Nuccio.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
