Spencer L. Tracy, Sr.

April 20, 1934 - November 1, 2012

Our beloved Saint, Spencer Lee Tracy, Sr., passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, "All Saints Day", following a lengthy illness. Visitation will be at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. on Saturday, November 3,2012 beginning at 8:00 A.M. and will conclude with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. Interment will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Spencer was born April 20, 1934 in New Orleans, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Tracy, his mother Evelyn Grandeury Tracy and his son Arthur Joseph Tracy. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Jo Ann Wyrwich Tracy; his 3 sons, Spencer W. Tracy of Metairie, LA, Blumes J. Tracy & wife Jennifer of Los Angeles, CA, and Spencer L. Tracy, Jr of Washington, DC; his 3 daughters, Evelyn T. Foret of Shreveport,LA, Lelia D. Matthews and husband Steve of Baton Rouge,LA and Ashla A. Haack of Baton Rouge,LA,; grandchildren, Kay Johnson and husband Matthew of Houston, TX, Matthew Ducote of Tucson, AZ, Blumes Liam Tracy and Jordan Kaeser of Los Angeles, CA; the Matthews' daughters, Lucy, Leigh Beth, Holly, Sophie and Jill, and great grandchild Brayden Wayne Dennis of Houston, TX.
