Susan Richter Quarterman, age 59, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013. She was a native of New Orleans and a 40-year resident of Chalmette, La. She is the daughter of Maximillian Herman Richter, Jr. and the late Mary Melvirna Audibert Richter. Susan is survived by her loving husband, David J. Quarterman, Sr. and her cherished children, Jennifer Lasseigne (Stephen), David Quarterman, Jr. (Rachel), and Rachel Higginbotham (Kenny). She was a devoted grandmother to Autumn, Kenny Jr., Grant, Noah, Emilie, and Ryan. She is also survived by her brother, Maximillian Richter III, and sisters Judy Howard, and Melinda Feldner. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, November 21st beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home.
