Sylvia Ann Mitchell Bergeron

Sylvia Ann Mitchell Bergeron, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the age of 66. Sylvia is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Rodney A. Bergeron: children, Michele Salvant wife of James Salvant, Keith A. Bergeron husband of Mary Bergeron, and Rodney A. Bergeron, Jr. husband of Gina Bergeron; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Brianne, Jennifer, Keith, Madelynn, Carson, Claudia and Jonah; sister, Diane M. Gabb wife of Charles Gabb. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Edna Mullet Mitchell and a sister, Jacklyn M. Dupont. She was a member of the Po-ke-no Club for over 46 years. Bernard Parish for 30 years, a resident of Mandeville for the past 5 years and a parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 12:00 Noon with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Lake Lawn Mausoleum. Masses preferred.
