Tyler Edward Hansen

Tyler Edward Hansen, age 26, a native of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on September 22, 2011. He was born on January 10, 1985 to Ronald and Laurie (Davis) Hansen. During his 26 years with us he touched many lives and was deeply loved by family and friends.

He graduated from Holy Cross High School in 2003, and was a recent graduate of Motorcycle Mechanic Institute. His favorite hobby was playing pool and he was a member of the “Last Minute” pool team, and recently traveled to Las Vegas for the national championship games.

Tyler is survived by his parents Ronald and Laurie Hansen of Metairie; and his brother and sister-in-law Trevor and Gabrielle Hansen, his sister, Kelsey Hansen, and his maternal grandmother Rosemary Davis.

Tyler is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James Davis and his paternal grandparents Hans and Marylou Hansen.

Relatives and friends of the family are welcome to attend a funeral mass celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
