Virginia Nell Dixon

Virginia NELL Manning Dixon, beloved wife of the late John Edward Dixon of Laurel MS, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011 at the age of 82. Nell was born in Laurel Ms on April 21, 1929. Mother of Brenda Swafford Guidry wife of Buddy, John M. Dixon, Gary E. Dixon, Bonnie D. Brink wife of Daryl, David A. Dixon and the late Beverly E. Dixon. Grandmother of Jennifer Swafford Franzese wife of Andres, Erin Dixon, Christopher Swafford, Jason Dixon and Jeromy Brink. Sister of Alice M. Clark and the late Stephen Lavon Manning. Daughter of the late Dewey M. and Josephine Riser Manning.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M. Interment will be in Garden of Memories.
