Laura Quintana

Laura Quintana of Downey California passed away Tuesday October 29, 2013 in Briarcliff Manor. She was 102 years old. Laura was one of 11 children and was born on October 11, 1911 in Las Cruces New Mexico she was the daughter of Luis & Lenore Cardone Lucero. Laura lived her younger years in New Mexico and Arizona making California her home in her twenties. She is survived by her husband Octavio whom she married on June 1, 1941. She is also survived by her daughter Mary-Ellen Quintana, grandchildren Anastasia & Douglas Friedland and Sheri Marie Harcourt Connoley and her great granddaughter Laura Harcourt Vilona and her son-in-law Marion LaRue Harcourt. Besides her siblings she was also predeceased by her daughter Alice Harcourt and grandson David Harcourt. Laura will be interred in the Rose Hill Memorial Park in California where a memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
