

Mary Longo Trulli, wife of the late Peter Trulli, died October 16th, in The Villages Hospice, Florida. She was 95 years old and the last of 11 Longo siblings, born to Amelia (LaVecchio) and Raffael Longo, on August 10, 1919 in Pittsburg, PA.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Jeanette (Anthony) Genes of Anaheim, CA; Rosalie (Joseph) Vaccaro of Mesa, AZ; and her son, Carmine and (Kathy) Trulli of The Villages, FL. She was predeceased by her daughter, Catherine Trulli Pisacrita, in 2000.
Mary is survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews as well. She has two surviving sisters-in-law, Carmela (Vincent) Trulli and Margaret (Peter) Longo.
Mary and Peter Trulli were married in St. Canice Catholic Church in Pittsburgh, PA on November 16th, 1937. They moved to 65 Acorn Terrace, New Rochelle, NY shortly after. She always said "I came to New Rochelle on my honeymoon and I'm still on it" She lived there until May of this year, when she moved to The Villages, FL.
She lived her life loving and caring for her large family and friends. While caring for those that were ill, she remained optimistic, funny and had a smile for all. Mary and her family were members of Holy Name of Jesus Parrish.
Hours of viewing will be: Wednesday, Oct. 22 7-9 only, Thursday, 2-4pm and 7-9 pm.
9.30 AM Mass at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Petersville Rd., New Rochelle. Burial immediately following at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery on Kings Highway, New Rochelle, NY.
