Arra Lee Ford

Arra Lee, also known as "Nanny", was well-loved by all who knew her. She was a devoted Christian by faith and a member of Dogwood Heights Baptist Church. She was a beloved wife and mother to her seven children.

Family get-togethers for holidays and any occasion delighted her. Her family meant everything to her, and she taught them the meaning of unconditional love, resilience and faith. Her spirit, strength, and love will live on in who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Henry Tucker and Okie (Mize) Tucker, brother- Clyde Eugene Tucker, grandson- Bradley Elliot Ford, and mother-in-law-Josie Deadrick.

Arra is survived by her husband of 68 years Clarence Ford, her daughter Lynne (Jeff) Mahon, son Clarence (June) Ford Jr., son Mike "Tony" (Becky Hurst) Ford, son Randy Ford, son Fred (Divina Bowlin) Ford, daughter Kristi Ford, and son Jason (Vickie) Ford, and sister Brenda "Bebe" Williford. Special granddaughter, Jessica Ford. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and special family friends, Jeff Pressnell, Joanne Thomas, and Julie Miller-Ford.

The family would like to give special thanks to Amedysis Hospice for loving care and treatment along the way to Arra Lee's journey home.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 6-8pm at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 24th, at 2pm at Coffey Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in Irish Memorial Gardens.
