Born with a gentle heart and a nurturing spirit, Brenda dedicated her life to caring for children—not only through her career as a cherished babysitter, but also as a loving grandmother. Her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren, whose laughter and stories filled her days with joy. Whether she was crocheting a handmade blanket or offering a comforting word, Brenda’s love was always felt in the smallest, sweetest ways.

Brenda was the beloved wife of the late J. Harold Ratliff, with whom she shared many years of love, partnership, and devotion. Though he passed before her, their bond remained unbroken—a love story that endured beyond this life.

She will be remembered for her soft strength, her selfless heart, and the way she made everyone feel like family. Her legacy lives on in every stitch of yarn, every giggling grandchild, and every heart she touched.

Brenda Joyce Ratliff’s presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to comfort and guide those who loved her.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday August 2, 2025 at 11 AM in Fairview Cemetery.
