Cory was born in Morristown, TN, to Sandra Brooks and the late Bill Lunsford. Cory was saved at an early age. He enjoyed his cats, video games and playing with his friends online. Cory was friendly, kind, and outgoing and had a big heart. He was musically gifted and could play a variety of instruments. He was loved and will be greatly missed by many.
Cory was preceded in death by his father, Bill Lunsford; his grandmother, Sylvia Brooks; cousin, Ashley Mullins.
Cory is survived by his mother, Sandra Brooks; grandfather, O Dell Brooks; siblings, Holly (Randy) Hoskins, Bill "Turtle" Lunsford, and Christy Lunsford, all of Tazewell; aunts, Lisa Brooks and Renee Brooks of New Tazewell; uncle, Doug Brooks of New Tazewell; as well as a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The family will have private services.
