Delilah Bull

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Delilah (Seals) Bull, 71 of Tazewell, TN.

Delilah passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 9, 2024 surrounded by loved ones, she was a cherished mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend, she will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.

Born on May 25, 1953 in Tazewell, TN to her parents Reverend Chester Phil Seals "Smokey" and Pauline Barnette Seals, Delilah professed her faith in Christ at an early age at Seals Branch Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Reverend Chester Phil Seals "Smokey" and Pauline Barnette Seals. Brothers, Roy Elis "Butch" Seals, Raymond Seals, Daymond Seals, and Samson Seals. Nephews Joshua Seals and Douglas Vanover. Brother-in-laws, Larry Bull, Louis Mullins, Donnie Davidson, Cardell Bowlin and Hank Seals. Sisters, Betty Sue Seals, Brenda Kay Seals, Beatrice Vanover and Bernice Mullins. Sister-in-law, Kathy Seals. Mother-in-law, AnnaMae Bull.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 wonderful years, Robert L. Bull, they were married on August 13, 1971. Son, Robert Casey Bull of Tazewell, TN. Daughter, Melinda Gail (Bull) Bell (Nicholas) of Tazewell, TN. Grandchildren, Mahalla Clayshan Wyatt (Dalton) of New Tazewell, TN, Jordan Dewayne Honeycutt of Pineville, KY, Caitlin Marie Bull of New Tazewell, TN, Kyeren Nichole Bell of Tazewell, TN, Kasey AnnaMae Bell of Tazewell, TN, and Nathaniel Wayne Bell of Tazewell, TN. Great grandchildren Mason and Jaxxon Widner of Mooresburg, TN and Cambreigh and Charlie Wyatt of New Tazewell, TN. Brother, Frankie Seals of New Tazewell, TN. Sisters, Irene Bowlin of Tazewell, TN, Nancy (Brian) Campbell of Tazewell, TN and Gail (Bruce) Sprouls of New Tazewell, TN. Sister-in-law, Barbara Seals of Tazewell, TN and Joyce (Connie) Morris of Tazewell, TN. Father-in-law, Fred (Clara) Bull of Springfield, OH. Along with a host of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

A special thanks goes out to all those who helped in Delilah's time of need and the family's sorrow; and a special thanks to Danny Goodman, Paul Clontz, Kenny Porterfield and Scott Morris for the help in the services.

Visitation will be Monday and Tuesday August 12th and 13th at Coffey's Funeral Home in New Tazewell, TN from 5 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday August 14th at Seals Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at 2 PM. The graveside will follow in the Seals Chapel Cemetery.

Anyone who wishes to follow the family to the church will need to be at Coffey Funeral Home by 11 AM on Wednesday August 14th to leave at 11:30 AM.
