Elizabeth Jacqueline Collingsworth

Elizabeth Jacqueline "Jackie" Collingsworth, age 90 of Tazewell, TN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 15, 1935, the daughter of the late Jack and Alice Poore Arnold.

Jackie was saved at an early age and joined Mayes Chapel Methodist Church. After marrying and having children, she joined Pleasant View Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member and servant of the Lord. Jackie had a beautiful alto voice, and she used her talent in the church choir.

Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving daughters, Kathy Sharp and Lisa Estes and husband John; her sisters, Ethel Estes and Bernice Poore; her cherished grandchildren, Craig and Brittany, Kasey and Robby, Kylee and Jason, and Kody and Jacob; her eight adored great-grandchildren, Mattie and Sophia Agee, Gus Collingsworth, Chloe and Caleb Cupp, Avery O'Quinn, Rylan Sons and Callen Sharp; as well as many nieces and nephews she adored.

Jackie was known for her quick wit, warm sense of humor and she was an incredible cook. With that talent, her life career became working in the Claiborne School System's dietary department. She worked 30+ years in several school cafeterias and touched the lives of many students and staff along the way. Jackie loved her family deeply and found her greatest joy was cooking and sharing a good meal with her beloved family.

Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kyle "Teddy" Collingsworth; her parents; her brothers and spouses, Bud and Edna and Curt and Carolyn; and her brothers-in-law, Wayne Estes and Curtis Poore.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church with the funeral to follow at 1:00 at the church. A private burial will follow at a later date in the Pleasant View-Cook Cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Malinda Munsey and Claiborne Nursing Home staff for the wonderful care that was given to their momma and mamaw.
