Hazel Patricia Sturgill

Hazel Patricia 'Trish' Sturgill, age 72, of Mooresburg TN, was born June 3, 1948 and went home to be with the lord on June 10, 2020 at home with her family by her side. Trish was saved at six years old and spent the rest of her life serving the Lord. She was a member of Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church. Her very best friend, and yard sale buddy, was her great granddaughter Madison Colvin. Trish is preceded in death by her parents Rev. Henry and Veana Ayers, husband Dean Sturgill, Son Danny Lawson, brothers Sam, Johnny, and Joe Ayers, and sister Margie Seals; all of Tazewell TN, and life long best friend Connie Owens. She is survived by Children Rita (Marvin) McGinnis, Kim (Adam) Cox, Fred Lawson. Grandchildren Natashia (Joe) Colvin, Casey (Catherine) Purkey, Tiffany Cox. Great grandchildren Madison Colvin, Skylar Colvin, Zoey Purkey, Daniel Purkey, Sophia Cox, Bailey Cox, and Paisley Cox. Sister Nida Drinnon. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other loved ones. Rest easy Trish, your work here is done, Heaven is now your home.

Family will receive friends Friday June 12th from 6 until 8 PM at Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Saturday June 13th at 1 PM at Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church. The graveside service will follow in the Lakeview Church Cemetery.
