Hollie DiAnne Minton

Hollie DiAnne Minton age 18 of New Tazewell, TN was born December 7, 1995 and passed away to become an angel on October 26, 2014 at Park West Hospital. She was a devout mother who left behind a beautiful son, Ayden Minton, after a prolonged illness that claimed her life. She was born at Morristown Hamblen Hospital to parents Flora Davis and Chucky Minton. Although she lived her life in constant pain, due to juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, she was very active and always tried to live life to the fullest. She was saved by our Lord Jesus Christ at age 9 at MCM Missionary Baptist Church in New Tazewell, TN. Her greatest accomplishment in this life, as she would say, was her amazing son. She had aspirations of becoming a social worker because of her desire to help others in need. She was loved by many and will forever be missed.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Charlie Davis and uncle’s Carl Davis and Allen Davis.

Hollie is survived by her son Ayden Charlie Lynn Minton, mother Flora Minton Britt and stepfather Tommy Britt, father Chucky Minton and step mother Jammie Mullins, grandparents Lewis and Ruth Minton, grandmother Cynthia Davis, brother Joshua Minton and sister Kari Minton, aunts and uncles Mitchell and Sherry Minton, James and Lila Malicoat, Marsh and Jeanette Davis, Randy Davis and Stacey Mullins, uncle Matt Davis, aunt Charlene Rodgers, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 P.M. Wednesday October 29 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel followed by burial in the Shoemaker Cemetery on Clouds Rd.
