J B Lane

Mr. J.B. “Percy” Lane was born October 13, 1933 and passed away at Claiborne Medical Center on February 26, 2016 with his family by his side. He worked all his life in furniture factories. He was saved at an early age at New Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Hallie June (Gilliam) Lane; parents, Paul and Margaret (Harvey) Lane ; brothers and sisters, Raymond, Aerah, Willis, Louise, Ethel, Bob and R.B.; brother-in-law, James Burt Morris; nephews, Tim Morris and Michael Lane.

He is survived by his daughters: Janice (Lewis) Wilson

Sharon (Kenneth) Mullins of Tazewell

Two Grandsons: Brandon Paul Brooks and Christopher Wayne Mullins

Three Step Grandchildren: Billy, Brad and Leah Wilson

Several step great Grandchildren

Loving Sister: Mary Ellen Morris

Several Nieces: Shelia (Jeff ) Harville and Mary Lane

Several Nephews: Greg (Pam) Lane, Doug (Kay) Lane, Jeff (Lynda) Lane, Dave (Allison) Morris, Edd Lane and Kenny Lane

The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 P.M. Monday February 29, 2016 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday March 1, 2016 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the New Bethel Cemetery.
