James Shelby Chumley

James Shelby Chumley age 72 of New Tazewell, was born December 25, 1939, passed away on July 14, 2012 at his home. Shelby was a fateful member of Watson’s Chapel American Christian Church. He was a loving husband , caring father and grandfather. He loved working and helping his family and friends in his community. Preceded in death by his first wife Jane Carol Chumley, mother and father Dessie Cupp Chumley and James Robert Chumley ; brother Ward Chumley and four sisters.

The family will receive friends Monday July 16, 2012 from 6-9pm at the Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell. Funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday July 16, 2012 in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel in New Tazewell, burial to follow in the Meyers Grove Cemetery .
