Dad,                                      The serenity prayer you always referred to when you were having a bad day or to lift me up is now over my fireplace. I think of you every time i look at it. I know there was nothing i could do to change what happened to you.If i could have you would still be here.(God had a different plan for you) I miss talking to you, I miss seeing you, I just miss you dad. It was so hard to say goodbye. I am so lucky to call you my (DAD). Love you,                                             Gail

Its been almost seven months since you left us. It doesn't feel like that long at all. It feels like you are always around. Maybe its in my head or maybe its just being here in this house that you and grandma shared that makes me feel closer to the two of you. Each of us will always a carry a part of the both of you with us. I want to forget remembering just how bad your were getting. I try to remember you for who you used to be before you started to go downhill. Its a shame that there are so few of us left. I think the Jesus bus needs to stop for awhile :) Sometimes I feel as though theres no point in getting close to anyone if it means losing everything you have ever known. Anyway, I love you.

Dear Lester, you were my very best friend and confidant.  We had lots of good times and laughs together.  We traveled to several places 43 states in all.  Faith enjoyed all the states and people we met also.  I miss you and love you.  I miss us talking everyday.  My mom also misses you so very much she cries and talks about you all the time.  Paul, Stacy, Faith and Joshua also miss you and loved you very much.  My brother Mike and his wife really misses you too.  But we know you are in a much better place now. Gail and Linda I know this has been so hard on you and the rest of the family.David and Gary ask about sighing this. They wonted you all  to know that they loved your dad also. They have memories that will always be in there heart. Your dad was a very loved man. He treated all of us like we were his children. We will  never forget that. I miss him every day. But I know we will see him again. He touched all of our lifes in different ways. So be thankful we got to keep him as long as we did.

Tell Grandma I said hi and hug her and Uncle Steve for me. Tell Granny, Imogene, and Aunt Cleo that I love them. Thank you for your support and guidance. Thank you for just being there when it seemed that all roads were lost. Everything that I said when I stood up in front of everyone at the funeral came from my heart. I meant every word I said I know that I made you proud. I will always carry a part of you and Grandma both with me always. And I know you both will continue to watch over all of us.

Lester how could anybody ever put into words the way I loved you. You were my friend my second dad and so much more. Your death was much to soon. I dont know where to turn to now. You taught me a lot of life lessons that will never be forgotten. I cant say goodbye you will always be in my heart and never far from my mind. So i'll say see you later. I will miss you. But we will see each other again. You watch for me and when i get there i will look for you. I love you and thanks for all the memories and the love. See you later my friend.

And Dad,You & Mom called me when my grandmother died even though Patty & I were not together.It just shows what wonderful people you were.I wish I had told you,how much that meant to me.

Dad you made me feel welcome to the family,right from the start!Mom was a tougher cookie to crumble,lol.Dad over flowed with an abundance of knowledge,so much so I was wrong about the years he had attended school.He could have been a great politician,he loved to communicate.......but because of his honesty he may never have  considered it.He Loved his family,he lost his only son way too early and he kept his son alive though the stories he shared with us.He loved & cherished his daughters so much and always kept in touch,no matter where you were.He was and always will be one of a kind,just to talk with him and see the friendly smile made you really feel like you were an important part of the conversation.He lived his life,his way and no truer of a song could be sung "I DID IT MY WAY" I Love & Miss You Dad,and in your own words,Dad This Is Bob...Talk To You Latter.I
