James C. (Jimmy) Sandifur

James Curtis (Jimmy) Sandifur, age 72 of Cumberland Gap, TN was born September 10, 1942, went to be with The Lord June 5, 2015. He was saved and baptized at an early age at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He retired from Ford Motor Company, Woodhaven, Michigan in 1997 after 30 and one half years of service. He, his wife and so, then returned to Claiborne county to enjoy retirement life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paris and Odell Crigger Sandifer; brothers, Bill, Earl and Ancil; sisters, Inez Brittian Brooks, Opal Williams, Patsy Ayers and Barbara Brittian.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 and one half years: Suzette Estep Sandifur

Daughters: Lisa and James Peltier of Suwanee, GA

Jamie and Todd Macisaac of Haymarket, VA

Son: James Christopher

Grandsons: Noah and Jacob Peltier

Granddaughters: Ashlyne and Hannah Macisaac

Brothers: Wayne and Beverly of Cumberland Gap, TN

Doyle and Janet of Bluefield, VA

Sisters: Bobbie Lou and John Bussell of Dundee, Michigan

Bonnie Mae Sumpter of Sarasota, FLA

And countless nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 P.M. Monday June 8, 2015 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN. Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Tuesday June 9, 2015 at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Harrogate, TN
