Jaunita West Welch

Jaunita was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Dora West. Husband of 64 years Warren Gene Welch. Brothers Frank (Bessie) West, Luther (Tress) West, Leeman (Wanda) West, Roy (Mossie) West, and Edward West. Daughter Glenda Wilder. Son-in-law Bobby Bush.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, and canning. She was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church of Speedwell, TN.

She is survived by her son; Melvin Welch of Speedwell. Daughters; Louise (Rev. Bruce) Woodruff of Speedwell, Rebecca Bush of Sneedville, and Christine (Gary) Wallen of Tazewell. Son-in-law Donald Wilder of Harrogate. Sister-in-law Delores West of Michigan. Grandchildren; Adam (Meggan) Welch, Creta (Darrell) Johnson, Melissa (George) Brock, Michael Wilder, Robert (Sarah) Bush, Jason (Katherine) Woodruff, Mitchell (Jackie) Wallen, and Matthew Wallen. Great grandchildren; Addison (Riley) Welch, Kristen (DeeJay) Tolliver, Oakley Welch, Allyson & Cooper Brock, Colson Keller, Samuel, Benjamin, Annie, Luke & Rheya Woodruff, and Micah Wallen. Great great grandchild; Graham Tolliver. Special relative Bobbie (Skippy) Burchett and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to the above, the family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to Amedysis Home Health; as well as Buchanan Place and Suncrest Hospice.

The family will receive friends on Saturday July 27, 2024 from 12 until 2 PM at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate. The funeral service will be at 2 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Old Red Hill Cemetery.
