Joyce Ann Goins

Joyce married her soulmate, Hoyle “Skip” Goins, on August 20, 1971, and together they shared 44 years of marriage built on love, loyalty, and countless memories.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Skip; her son, Hoyle Goins Jr.; and her brother, Dennis Gregory.

Joyce is survived by her children: Christine (Brad) Burns of Knoxville, Tennessee; Craig Goins; Gregory (Chelsie) Goins; Doyle (Sinda) Goins; and Ashley (Tommy) Bosely. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Shelby, Haley, Brianna, Zachary, Lil Greg, Shakira, Britleigh, Emma, and Hadleigh, as well as three great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

She is also survived by her siblings: Annette (Raymond) Weisbrodt of Florida; Gerald (Melody) Gregory of Iowa; James Palmer of Michigan; and Debbie Ucci.

Joyce dedicated 30 years of her life working as a CNA at Willow Ridge Center, where her compassion, strength, and care touched countless lives. Outside of work, she loved riding on the back of Skip’s Harley, spending time with her dogs, and enjoying trips to the casino. Above all else, Joyce loved her family fiercely and completely.

She will be remembered for her hardworking spirit, her deep love for her family, and the many lives she touched along the way.

A committal service will be held at Irish Memorial Gardens. The service is scheduled for February 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM
