Lillian also known as Nana was well loved by all who knew her, she was a devout Christain by faith and a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church. She was a caregiver by trade and that showed in all aspects of her life by the love and care she showed everyone. Lillian loved her flowers and spending time in her garden; she made sure no weeds interfered with its natural beauty. She loved all children and her church family dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents Billy and Millie Payne. Brother Dan Payne. Husbands Louis Koning and Bob Pace. Son-in-law Jerry Jones. Granddaughter Sara Koning.
Lillian is survived by her daughter and caregiver Terry Patterson, daughter Lila (Shannon) Mize. Son Eric (Paula) Koning. Daughter Carol (George) Johnson. Son Kenneth (Teresa) Pace. Sisters Nora Krach and Hazel Long. Brother Roy Henry (Peggy) Payne. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her community and neighborhood who she loved.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Cave Springs Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Saturday September 20, 2025 from 5 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held on Sunday September 21, 2025 at 2 PM in Cave Springs Cemetery.
